NOTE: Instawork Gold is now Instawork Top Pro! (9/1/2021)

We are expanding the Instawork Gold system to reach more professionals and reward our best workers even more! On September 1st we are rolling out our new rewards program called Instawork Top Pro.

Current Instawork Gold professionals will automatically receive a Gold Level in the new system for September 2021. After September, levels are earned through the new qualifications.

The summary: Instapay is only available to pros with Gold status. To qualify for Gold and Instapay for next month, in the current month you must:

  • Complete 5 shifts -- these shifts must be completed by 11:59pm PST at the end of the month.

  • Don’t cancel on any shift

  • Maintain an average 4.2 rating or higher

Instawork Gold is a program that rewards Professionals for continuously doing great work through Instawork. 

When you earn Instawork Gold, you’ll get: 

  • Instapay: get paid within hours after a 1099 shift

  • Early access to shifts

  • Access to additional $$$ bonuses

  • Access to special events

  • Gold badges on your profile

How do I reach Instawork Gold status?

You’ll need to meet criteria in the current month to earn Gold rewards for the coming month. 

Is Instawork Gold free?

Yes, Instawork Gold is a free program provided by Instawork. You don’t have to pay anything to be part of the program. All you have to do is meet the requirements above. 

Can I invite friends to become Instawork Gold? 

You can invite as many friends and coworkers to join Instawork! In order to become Instawork Gold, everyone must meet the program criteria above.

Once I'm already in the Instawork Gold program, what happens if my average rating drops below 4.2?

You must maintain a 4.2 or higher star rating to earn Instawork Gold for the month. If your rating drops below 4.2, you'll still be able to continue picking up shifts, but you won't have Instawork Gold rewards until you raise your average rating. You still have to wait until the end of the month.

How often will I get Instawork Gold bonuses?

From time to time, we will run special bonus offers. These bonuses will be offered for a limited time and we will let our Professionals know the requirements to qualify for the bonus and how long the promotion is valid for. 

How do I know how close I am to qualifying for Instawork Gold?

You can check your progress towards Gold on your Instawork profile.  

In this example, this Pro has Gold now but in order to be earn Gold again next month, they need to work 5 shifts.

How do I know if I earned Instawork Gold? 

If you’re a part of Instawork Gold, you'll see the banner "You have Instawork Gold" but also you’ll will see a gold badge on your profile picture. We will also email you specific information about the program and special benefits that you now have access to.

I had to cancel a shift. Does this mean I can’t earn Instawork Gold?

We understand that sometimes you need to cancel. As outlined in our policies, we take going against your commitment to making it to a shift very seriously however, if you’d like to appeal a suspension or deactivation, please submit an appeal by navigating to the "Gigs" tab in the app and tapping into "View details" of the shift that had resulted in account change. Provide your reasoning and attach relevant documentation as evidence (e.g. doctor's note, proof of car repair, jury summons). Please allow a couple of weeks for us to review and respond to your appeal. If we approve the appeal, we won’t count it as a cancellation and it will not count as a gig completed.
