Adding and managing your payment methods

At Instawork, we strive to make the payment process as seamless as possible by offering multiple payment options to best serve our Partners' needs.



Add a payment method

To add a payment method:

Step 1: Click on your name located at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 2: Select Account settings from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Click on Payment Methods.

Step 4: To add a new payment method, click on Add bank or card.

Step 5: Choose the type of payment method you'd like to add and enter your account details. Click Save to store your new payment method.

Step 6: Your new payment method will now appear in your list.

Set a default and removing payment method

Next to each payment you will see two buttons. To set a payment method as your default, click Make Default. This ensures the selected method is used every time you post a shift. To remove a default payment method, you will need to set a new payment method as the default.

If you wish to remove a payment method, simply click Delete.

Setting a default payment method for different locations

Each location associated with your account can have its own default payment method. To set a default payment method for a specific location:

  • Find the specific location you want to manage under your payment methods

  • Click the dropdown menu to view all available payment methods

  • Select your preferred payment method for that location

ACH and invoicing options

While credit card payments are our standard payment method for new partnerships, we understand that some businesses may require different arrangements. Partners with consistent, higher monthly volume may be eligible for alternative payment terms, including ACH and invoicing options.

If you believe your business might qualify for alternative payment arrangements such as ACH or invoicing, we encourage you to discuss this with your Account Manager or reach out to our Partner Support team. They can evaluate your specific needs and help determine the best payment solution for your organization.
