You can update your preferred payment method on Instawork at any time. Follow these steps to update where and when you get paid:
Open the Instawork app and go to your Profile page.
Tap the gear icon (Settings).
Select "Payment Settings"
Tap the gear icon within Payment Settings.
Choose either a checking account or a debit card and update each one individually
Enter your account information and select "Save."
When will my changes take effect?
Generally, changes to your payment settings take effect immediately and will apply to your next payout, including all Instapay and 1099 weekly pay, with some exceptions.
Important note for W-2 weekly pay
Update your bank information by Monday noon to increase your chances of getting your Wednesday payment deposited into your new account. Even with early updates, changes might not take effect until the following week. Don't worry if this happens—your payment will still be sent to your original payment method until the update takes effect.
