When you make certain changes to your account or log in from a new device, Instawork will send a 4-digit verification code to your registered phone number. This extra security step helps protect your account and personal information.
Important security information
Never share your 4-digit verification code with anyone. Instawork will never call, text, or email you asking for this code. The verification process is only initiated when you take an action in the app.
If someone contacts you claiming to be from Instawork and asks for your verification code, this is a scam attempt. Do not provide the code and report this to our support team immediately.
When you'll receive a verification code
You may receive a 4-digit verification code when:
- Logging in from a new device. 
- Changing important account settings. 
- Updating payment information. 
- Making other security-sensitive changes. 
How to use your verification code
- Request the action that requires verification. 
- Check your text messages for a 4-digit code. 
- Enter the code in the app when prompted. 
- Complete your action once verified. 
Keep your account secure
- Always keep your phone number up to date in your profile. 
- Never screenshot or write down your verification codes. 
- Enter codes promptly as they expire after a short time. 
- If you don't receive a code, check that your phone number is correct in your profile.
