Understanding the Top Pro Bonus Program
As an Instawork Pro, you can earn extra money through the Top Pro bonus program. This article explains how Top Pro bonuses work and how you can qualify for them.
What is the Top Pro Bonus?
The Top Pro bonus is an extra payment (up to 25% more) that you can earn on select shifts when you reach Gold or Platinum Top Pro status. This bonus is added to your regular hourly rate.
For example:
- Regular shift rate: $20/hour
- With 25% Top Pro bonus: $25/hour
The bonus amount is included in the total pay you see when booking a shift and is paid along with your regular earnings.
How to Identify Shifts with Top Pro Bonuses
Shifts with Top Pro bonuses are clearly marked in the app:
1. Look for shifts with a gold lightning bolt icon
2. The shift details will show both the regular rate and the Top Pro rate
3. You'll see exactly how much extra you can earn with the bonus
How to Qualify for Top Pro Bonuses
To earn Top Pro bonuses, you need to reach Gold or Platinum Top Pro status:
Gold Level Requirements:
- Earn 50 points or work 5 shifts in a month
- Maintain at least a 4.80 average rating
- No "no shows"
- No late cancellations
- Maximum of 1 early cancellation
Platinum Level Requirements:
- Earn 150 points or work 15 shifts in a month
- Maintain at least a 4.90 average rating
- No "no shows"
- No late cancellations
- Maximum of 3 early cancellations
Important Things to Know About Top Pro Bonuses
- You must be a Gold or Platinum Top Pro at the time you work the shift to receive the bonus
- Not all shifts offer Top Pro bonuses
- Businesses choose which shifts to offer with Top Pro bonuses
- Your Top Pro status resets at the beginning of each month based on your work in the previous month
Checking Your Top Pro Status
To see your current Top Pro status and progress:
1. Open the Instawork app
2. Tap on the "Earnings" tab
3. Look for the "Instawork Top Pros" card
4. Tap to see your current level and rewards
Tips for Maintaining Top Pro Status
To keep your Gold or Platinum status and continue earning bonuses:
- Complete all shifts you book
- Arrive on time
- Provide excellent service
- Avoid cancellations, especially within 24 hours of a shift
- Work regularly to maintain your required number of shifts
