ADP Account Guide

This article is for ADP login, how to create an ADP account or register for ADP, and ADP code not working.

Your ADP account gives you access to your payment information for W-2 shifts including your paystubs and tax documents. This guide will walk you through how to register for an ADP account and log in whenever you need to access them.

Setting up your ADP account

Find your ADP registration email

  • Look for an email from ADP (noreply@adp.com) with the subject "Welcome to ADP"

  • Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox

  • Open the email and find your personal registration code

How to register your ADP account

  1. Go to the ADP registration page: https://workforcenow.adp.com

  2. Click "Create Account" or “Get Started”

You have two ways to register:

If you have a Personal Registration Code:

  1. Select "I Have a Registration Code"

2. Enter the Personal Registration code

3. Enter your identity information (first name, last name, date of birth, and

government-issued legal ID or Employee ID/Associate ID)

4. Select the current verification method you have access with

a. You will be prompted to choose email or mobile number

b. Make sure you choose the method you have access with

5. Enter the verification code sent to your email or mobile number

6. Set up your user ID and strong password

If you don't have a registration code

  1. Select "Find Me"

2. Enter the email address or mobile number that you have on record

a. You can find this in your Instawork App "Profile Tab> Settings (Gear icon at the top right)> Account Information

b. Make sure to enter the exact email or mobile number currently listed in your Instawork Account Information Section

3. Other option would be entering all your personal details to proceed.

4. Verify your identity by entering either your government-issued legal ID or Employee ID/Associate ID and date of birth

5. You will be prompted to verify your identity

  • You will be prompted to choose email or mobile number

  • Select the current verification method you have access with

  • Make sure you choose the method you have access to

The verification code for 2FA will be sent to the email address or mobile number that is currently on file on your Instawork app (Go to Profile > Settings > Account Information).

  1. Enter the verification code sent to your email or mobile number

2. Add your primary contact information

3. Set up your user ID and strong password

Note: If you continue to encounter issues registering using the Find Me option, contact Instawork Support for help.

How to find/retrieve your User ID

Logging in on your ADP account requires you to use your User ID as a credential. If you don’t remember your User ID associated with your ADP account, follow the instructions below to retrieve it.

For Android/IOS:

  1. Go to the ADP login page: https://workforcenow.adp.com

  2. Click “Forgot User ID”.

3. Enter your first and last name, and you may use your email address or phone number, then hit “Next”.

4. Once done, enter your last 4 digit of SSN, EIN, TIN, or ITIN.

5. After clicking “Next”, you will see the User ID on your ADP record that you can use to login to your account.

Note: You may be asked for a company name. Make sure to select “Advantage Workforce Services”.

For Desktop:

  1. Go to the ADP login page: https://workforcenow.adp.com

  2. Click the “Need help signing in?”.

3. Enter your phone number or email address associated with your registered account, and press “Next”.

4. Enter your first and last name associated with your account, then hit “Next”.

5. You will be asked to enter your last 4 digit of your SSN or date of birth.

6. It will show you multiple company names. Make sure to find and select “Advantage Workforce Services”

7. From there, you will see your registered User ID. Proceed to login to your ADP account using the User ID.

Note: Your User ID is usually not your Email Address. It was created during registration.

Are you having issues logging in? Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:

Forgot password

  1. Go to the ADP login page

  2. Click "Forgot Your Password"

  3. Enter your username

    1. Reminder: Your ADP username is usually not their email address; it was created during registration.

4. Follow the steps to reset your password

5. Create a new password

Did not Receive ADP Registration Email

  1. Check your spam or junk folder

  2. Make sure your email address is correct in the Instawork app

  3. Contact Instawork Support if you still don't see it

Contact Information Mismatch

If you've recently changed your email or phone number:

  1. ADP may still have your old contact information on file

  2. Updating your email address in the Instawork app does not automatically update it in ADP. You must update it in both places

  3. Contact Instawork Support if you cannot retrieve or update your information using self-service for further assistance.

I can't log in to ADP

  1. Make sure you're using the correct username

  2. Try resetting your password

  3. Clear your browser cache and cookies

  4. Try using a different browser

FAQs

What if I didn't receive the ADP registration email?

If you've been paid for a W-2 shift but haven't received the registration email, check your spam folder first. If you still can't find it, contact Instawork Support through the app for assistance.

Can I access ADP on my phone?

Yes, you can download the ADP Mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store to access your paystubs and tax documents on your mobile device.
