What happens to my pay if I work a different position than booked
Accurate payment for shifts, including adjustments for any role changes during the shift, is a critical concern for workers using Instawork. This article outlines key information, policies, and steps to address pay rate discrepancies and adjustments effectively.
When your pay stays the same
Your pay rate is typically determined by the position you agreed to when accepting the shift.
If the shift details say you might do other duties, your pay rate won't change.
Changes to a higher pay rate due to a role adjustment are not automatic and must be explicitly approved by the partner. Without approval, you will be compensated at the original rate.
