Food Handler's Card
Required for any position where you prepare or handle food
Needed for positions like prep cook, line cook, and dishwasher
Usually costs $10-15 and can be completed online
Alcohol Service Certification
Required for positions where you serve or handle alcohol
Needed for bartenders, barbacks, and some server positions
Examples include TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, and state-specific programs
Usually costs $15-40 and can be completed online
