Instawork has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination and harassment. We do not discriminate against someone based on traits such as their age, color, disability, gender identity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected under relevant law. Any forms of harassment including but not limited to verbal, sexual, or physical threats, should be reported to Instawork Support immediately and, in some instances, the local authorities.
If you have experienced harassment or feel uncomfortable about how you were treated on a gig, follow these steps:
- If possible, file a police report against the offender.
- Report the incident to Instawork Support via the app.
- Find your local agency and report discrimination or harassment.
- Contact the National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE.
If you'd prefer to report the incident anonymously, you can send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org from an email not registered with your Instawork account.
