What to do when you have unfilled shifts close to your start time
Updated over a month ago

If you find yourself with an unfilled shift 90 minutes before it's scheduled to begin, you have two options on how you’d like to move forward.

  1. Push back unfilled shifts
We’ll continue to send notifications to qualified workers up until the shift start time. If you want to give available Pros more time to respond and arrive, you can push back the start time of your shift so Pros have a wider window of time to pick up the shift.

To push back a shift start time, look for the "Push back unfilled shifts" button in your dashboard to delay the start time for any unfilled shifts.

Note, this action only affects unfilled shifts. Shifts that are already filled will keep their original start time.

  2. Cancel unfilled shifts
If you absolutely need workers to start at the original time or prefer to operate with one less worker, you can cancel an unfilled shift without incurring any fees. You can cancel an unfilled shift in the Shift Details page. Learn more.
