To start booking W-2 shifts within the app, the first thing you will need to do is complete paperwork–including reviewing and accepting an employment agreement and filling out a Form I-9–to onboard as an employee of AWS.
Click here for more information about W2 Onboarding.
Once you have completed your paperwork, your Form I-9 must be reviewed by the person you identify in the app as AWS’s authorized representative.
Who do I choose as my authorized representative?
Here at Instawork, we ask you to select someone you trust to verify your completed paperwork, this person should be someone who is 18 years old and NOT a family member.
You will need their full name and an active email address. This is where the verification link will be sent for your designated AWS-authorized representative to review and verify your completed paperwork.
Pro Tip
Check the spelling of the email address with the person you selected to make sure they receive the email.
We’ll send them an email to remind them to review and verify your documents.
What happens next?
Once you have completed the forms, you will see "Your documents have been submitted" in which we're waiting for your authorized representative to verify your documents.
Once they have verified your documents, we will receive notification and process your W2 onboarding request.
What happens if they do not receive the email?
If the person you designated did not receive the email, please reach out to support and chat with one of our specialists. They can verify the email and resend if needed.
What happens if I need to change my designated person?
If you need to change the person or update their email, please reach out to support via the app and chat with one of our specialists.
