AI Screener Call

Updated this week

Completing Your AI Screening Call

When you add work experience and select positions you're interested in on Instawork, you'll need to complete a quick AI screening call to verify your qualifications. This screening helps match you with shifts that fit your skills and experience.

Starting Your AI Screening Call

You'll see a prompt to complete your AI screening in the "Open Shifts" tab of the app. Here's how to complete your screening:

1. Look for the "Call Now" button in the Open Shifts tab

2. Tap "Call Now" to see an overview of the screening process

3. Select your preferred language for the call

4. When you're ready, tap the "Call" button to begin

Important: Make sure you're in a quiet place and ready to take the call before tapping the "Call" button. The call will start immediately and last approximately 10-15 minutes.

What this means:

  • You need to complete an AI screening call for skilled positions

  • Your position approval is waiting on this call

  • Shifts won't appear until you complete the screening

During the Call

The AI screener will ask you questions about your work experience and skills related to the positions you've selected. Answer clearly and provide specific examples of your experience when possible.

After Your Screening

Once you complete the screening call:

- Your profile will be updated with approved positions

- You can immediately begin booking shifts for positions you've been approved for

- You'll see more shift opportunities that match your verified skills

If you are not approved for a position after the initial screener call, don’t worry, you’ll get another chance. You can still book a shift for that position, and you'll be prompted to complete a coach call (with a human) before your shift is confirmed.
