How to find your shift requirements
Shift requirements are listed in the shift details before you book. Look for them in the shift description and read them carefully before accepting any shift.
Common types of requirements
Shift requirements typically include:
Qualifications: Certifications or training you need
Attire: Specific clothing you must wear (like black pants and white shirt)
Physical abilities: Tasks you must be able to do (like lifting over 30 pounds)
Information: Documents or details you need to provide
Vaccinations: Some businesses require specific vaccinations (like COVID-19)
Vaccination requirements
Some businesses require specific vaccinations as a company policy:
• If you don't have the required vaccination documentation, you typically won't see these shifts in the app
• If you book a shift but realize you can't meet the vaccination requirement, cancel the shift promptly through the app
• Cancel at least 24 hours before the shift starts to avoid an Urgent Defect
• If you cancel within 24 hours of the shift, you'll receive an Urgent Defect (1 violation point and a 24-hour suspension)
• If you show up to a shift without required vaccination documentation and are sent home, you won't qualify for 4-hour compensation
What happens if you don't meet requirements?
Not meeting shift requirements can have serious consequences:
You may receive negative ratings from the business
You could be blocked by the business
Your overall account rating may be affected
Your Top Pro status could be at risk
Your shift access may be affected
