As a business and Instawork Partner, you're responsible for providing breaks according to local labor laws and regulations. We encourage you to follow your existing practices and exercise common sense to support a positive work experience for Instawork Professionals.
Here's how to manage breaks on Instawork:
When you post a shift, we will let you know the breaks Pros will expect based on the scheduled hours.
At the beginning of your shift, clearly communicate to Pros what their break schedule will look like during the shift.
Pros will confirm their breaks when they clock out of the shift.
During the shift or after it ends, you can edit Pro break time in the timesheet.
Time for any unpaid breaks will be deducted from each Professional’s total hours worked on the shift.
💡Pro tip: Clear break policies help maintain high show rates and positive ratings from Instawork Professionals.
