It can seem easy to bring in a Professional to work a few shifts at your business then reach out to Instawork about paying the Professional for those previous shifts. Though our system does provide an easy solution for your business and businesses alike to bring in Professionals on a temporary basis, we are not able to pay Professionals for work that was completed outside of the Instawork platform. Additionally, we provide insurance to all Professionals so it's important that they only work shifts they are scheduled as they'll be covered.

We encourage that you use the shifts platform to fill those open positions on the platform and rate those Professionals highly if you would like them to return again in the future. Instawork Professionals who you rate highly on previous shifts will get the first chance to pick up the new shifts that your business posts.
