We understand that the clock in/out times may not reflect your actual hours worked and we want to make sure you're paid for the time you actually worked. You can now dispute your clock in/out time in the app! You have a 48 hour window from the end of the gig to submit a dispute.
- Login to the Instawork app.
- Click "My Gigs"
- Navigate to "Past Gigs"
- Select "Request Hours Adjustment" at the bottom of the page.
- Enter the hours that need to be adjusted for your gig.
- Submit the request by clicking "Request" in the top right corner of the page.
Disputes are sent to the Partner in which they have 3 days to review by either accepting or rejecting the claim. If they fail to do either after that deadline, the adjustment will be made in your favor. As soon as a decision has been made, you'll receive an email.
In the future, you can make the adjustments to your clock out time in the app prior to clocking out to ensure that the times worked is accurate. View our FAQ on how to do that!
