After working W-2 shifts through Instawork, you can view your paystubs and tax documents through ADP. This article explains how to set up your ADP account and access your important documents.
When can I access ADP?
You can only access your ADP account after you've been paid for your first W-2 shift on Instawork. Once your first payment has been processed, you'll receive an email from ADP with registration instructions.
Setting up your ADP account
Find your ADP registration email
Look for an email from ADP (noreply@adp.com) with the subject "Welcome to ADP"
Check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it in your inbox
Open the email and find your personal registration code
Register your ADP account
Go to the ADP registration page: https://workforcenow.adp.com
Click "Create Account"
You have two ways to register:
If you have a registration code:
Select "I Have a Registration Code"
Enter the Personal Registration code or Organizational Registration code shared by your administrator
Enter your identity information (first name, last name, date of birth, and government-issued legal ID or Employee ID/Associate ID)
Enter the verification code sent to your email or mobile number
Set up your user ID and strong password
If you don't have a registration code:
Select "Find Me"
Enter the email address or mobile number that you shared with your organization
Verify your identity by entering either your government-issued legal ID or Employee ID/Associate ID and date of birth
Enter the verification code sent to your email or mobile
Add your primary contact information
Set up your user ID and strong password

Troubleshooting common ADP issues
Forgot your password
Go to the ADP login page
Click "Forgot Your Password"
Enter your username
Follow the steps to reset your password
Create a new password
Didn't receive ADP registration email - If you didn't get an email from ADP:
Check your spam or junk folder
Make sure your email address is correct in the Instawork app
Contact Instawork Support if you still don't see it
Update your contact information - If you've recently changed your email or phone number:
ADP may still have your old contact information on file
Contact Instawork Support with your updated information for assistance accessing your ADP account
Can't log in to ADP - If you can't log in:
Make sure you're using the correct username
Try resetting your password
Clear your browser cache and cookies
Try using a different browser
Missing pay stub - If you can't find a pay stub:
Check that your shift was approved in the Instawork app
Allow 1-2 business days after shift approval for processing
Make sure you're looking in the right date range
Contact Instawork Support if you still can't find it
Sign in to your ADP account
Return to https://workforcenow.adp.com
Enter your username and password
Click "Sign In"
Viewing your paystubs
To view your W-2 paystubs::
Log in to ADP Workforce Now
From the dashboard, click on "Pay & Taxes" or "Pay"
Select "Pay Statements" to view all your paystubs
Click on any paystub to view or download the details
Accessing your W-2 tax forms
To view your W-2 tax forms:
Log in to ADP Workforce Now
From the dashboard, click on the "Annual Tax Statements" shortcut
Or navigate to: MYSELF > Pay & Tax Statements > Tax Statements
Select the tax year you want to view
Click on the form to download or print it
Frequently asked questions
When are my paystubs available in ADP?
Your paystubs are typically available in ADP on your scheduled pay date. You can view them as soon as the payment has been processed.
When are W-2 tax forms available?
Your W-2 tax forms are available in ADP by February 2nd. For example, if you work shifts in 2025, you'll find your W-2 form in ADP by February 2, 2026.
What if I didn't receive the ADP registration email?
If you've been paid for a W-2 shift but haven't received the registration email, check your spam folder first. If you still can't find it, contact Instawork Support through the app for assistance.
Can I access ADP on my phone?
Yes, you can download the ADP Mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store to access your paystubs and tax documents on your mobile device.
