Our Community Guidelines, which apply to all users of the Instawork app, reflect our company values and establish a common code for using the platform that helps us achieve our mission. When members of the Instawork community violate one of our guidelines, the Trust and Safety team will take swift action to investigate and respond to ensure the safety of our Professionals, Partners and the communities that they serve.
What constitutes an incident?
Report an incident if any of these things happen during your shift. These are examples of incidents you can report, but you are not restricted to them. If something happens that makes you feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or at risk, please let us know immediately.
Someone hurts you or threatens you
Physical fights or assault
Threats of violence
Someone has a weapon
Threats of suicide or self-harm
Someone harasses or discriminates against you
Unwanted touching or sexual behavior
Racist or insulting comments
Unwanted contact outside of your shift
You see illegal activity or get injured
Theft
Drug or alcohol use during the shift
Injuries at work
Property damage
You see fraud or dishonest behavior
Fake IDs or accounts
Someone else working under another person's account
Fake clock-ins
You see child endangerment
Reporting an Incident
If you have experienced an issue and would like to contact the Trust and Safety team, follow the below steps to report an incident.
If you are in an emergency situation, please dial 911
When possible, notify the on site supervisor or captain of the issues experienced
If warranted, contact local authorities. Instawork cooperates with local law enforcement per our Privacy Policy
