Top Pro program changes in early 2023
New ways to earn Top Pro levels
Starting in early 2023, you can earn Top Pro Points to reach your monthly Top Pro level. Points will mostly be earned by working shifts, but eventually, you can earn them through making referrals, serving as a shift lead, completing challenges, and more.
We won't be changing the number of shifts required each month to earn a level. Moving to a points-based system helps us reward Pros for being a Top Pro in new ways in addition to working shifts. We wanted the Top Pro Program to better reflect all the ways Pros contribute to the Instawork community.
Changes to Platinum benefits
In February 2023, we're introducing the Instawork Card - a business debit card and a checking account - that gives Platinum Pros 5% cash back on gas and public transportation. Other Top Pros get 2% back.
As part of our revamp to the Top Pro Program, starting in January 2023, we'll no longer offer the $100 monthly bonus at the Platinum level.
Eligible Pros who complete 15 or more shifts in December 2022 will still receive a Platinum bonus in January 2023.
About Instawork Top Pro Program
At Instawork, we believe it is important to recognize hard-working, high-quality professionals. So we created the Instawork Top Pro program to reward Instawork Professionals for a job well done.
Each month, professionals earn rewards that will be given out the following month. You can earn rewards like cash bonuses, priority access to shifts, and up to 25% extra pay on select shifts by working the required number of shifts and maintaining a high level of performance.
Below you will find a breakdown of the rewards and an FAQ section to answer more questions. Good luck becoming a Top Pro!

What is an early cancellation?
An "early cancellation" is any shift cancellation more than 24 hours before the shift. There is a 5-minute window after booking a shift where you can cancel without any penalty. And any shift within 24 hours before a shift is a late cancellation.
How does the "Up to 25% bonus on select shifts" work?
For certain shifts, we offer up to 25% bonus pay for our Gold and Platinum Top Pros. This bonus amount is included in the price totals you see on the shift and is paid as part of the normal payment for that shift.
It is important to note that to be eligible to receive the bonus you must be a Gold or Platinum Top Pro at the time you work the shift.

FAQs
Q: How does the Top Pro program work? How do I earn rewards?
The work you do each month determines your Top Pro level in the following month. For example, if you work 3 shifts in September without any cancels or “no-shows,” you would earn the Silver Level rewards starting on October 1st until the end of the month.
Levels last until the end of the month that you received it. You then receive a new level on the 1st of the next month.
Q: Is the Top Pro program free?
Yes, Instawork Gold is a free program provided by Instawork. You don’t have to pay anything to be part of the program. All you have to do is meet the requirements above.
Q: Can I invite friends to become an Instawork Top Pro?
You can invite as many friends and coworkers to join Instawork! In order to become an Instawork Top Pro, everyone must meet the program criteria above.
Q: Why didn’t my level update at the beginning of the month?
On the 1st of the month, all professionals should receive their new level. You can check your work activity in the last month against the qualifications to see why you received a certain level. If you believe you received the wrong level, please get in touch with support.
Q: Why didn’t I receive the correct level based on the number of shifts I worked?
Your number of shifts worked is not the only requirement for earning a level. You can look at the full qualification criteria for each reward level in our help docs.
Q: When do I receive the rewards for my Top Pro level?
You begin getting the benefits for your level at the start of the month based on your work during the previous month. Any prize drawings are shipped after filling out the prize claim form sent to eligible professionals. All other benefits start on the 1st of the month.
Q: I have to cancel a shift. What does this mean for my Top Pro level?
Your Top Pro level for the current month will be unaffected by the cancellation, but your eligibility for next month’s levels might be impacted. If the cancellation was a “late cancellation,” which is a cancellation within 24 hours of the shift start time, you would not be able to earn any rewards for the following month. All reward levels require no late cancellations to qualify.
Q: I was a no-show at a shift. What does this mean for my Top Pro level?
Your Top Pro level for the current month will be unaffected by the cancellation, but you are no longer eligible to earn rewards next month. You can still apply for and work shifts this month, but you will not be able to earn a Top Pro level for next month.
Q: What qualifies as a “late cancellation”?
A late cancellation is a cancellation within 24 hours of a shift start time.
Q: What qualifies as a “no show”?
A “no show” is when a professional confirmed a shift, did not cancel, and then did not show up to work the shift.
