Top Pro Points FAQ
Updated over a year ago

Available everywhere March 21st, 2023!

Summary

  • Introducing Top Pro Points, which you can earn by working shifts.

  • Top Pro Levels will be rewarded based on "total points earned" instead of "total shifts worked" in the previous month.

  • You don't have to do anything different to earn Top Pro Levels; the number of shifts and the requirements for each level remains the same.

  • In the future, we might reward points for contributions beyond working shifts, like completing streaks of shifts, helping other Pros, participating in Instawork programs, etc.

  • When the Top Pro Points program becomes available in your area, any shifts you've worked in the current month will be converted automatically to Top Pro Points.

What are Top Pro Points?

Points are the new way to earn Top Pro Levels! For each shift you work, you'll get 10 points toward your Top Pro Level. On the 1st of each month, you'll get a level based on the total points you earned in the previous month (assuming you also meet any special requirements for that level.) This works like the current Top Pro system, but levels are earned by "total points earned" instead of "total shifts worked" in the previous month.

I'm a Top Pro, what does this change for me?

Points won't change your experience too much for now.

To unlock a Top Pro level, you'll still work the same number of shifts and meet the same requirements as before. But instead of shifts counting directly towards Top Pro level, the points you earn from each shift will be used to calculate your level.

Why is Instawork adding points to Top Pro?

While points are based on the number of shifts worked for now, we're launching Top Pro Points in order to reward Pros for contributions to the Instawork community beyond just working shifts. For example, in the future, we might reward points for completing streaks of shifts, helping other Pros, participating in Instawork programs, etc. Stay tuned for updates!
