You can manage your personal information, including email address, directly in the Instawork app. Make sure your email is current to ensure you receive important communications (including your tax documents).
How to edit your email:
Open the Instawork app
Tap the profile icon on the bottom right
Tap on the gear icon on the top right to access your settings
Tap on "Account information"
Tap "Edit" next to your email address.
⚠️ Important Security Note: When you change your email address, your account is subjected to a 24-hour temporary hold as a security measure to prevent unauthorized access. During this time, you will be unable to accept new shifts or jobs until the hold is lifted. Changes to your email address can take up to 24 hours to take effect.
Why won't the app let me change my email address?
If we detect multiple changes to your profile or it has been a while since you have logged in, the app may prevent you from making further changes as a security precaution. Please wait a few days before you try again.
