There are three important dates to know for every tax season:
Update your email by Jan 10th of each year.
To do so, go to your app > Settings > Account info and make sure your email address is correct.
Your tax information will be emailed to you.
Get your Instawork tax forms by Feb 1 of each year
Form 1099 - If you earned $600 or more in 2024 for providing your services through the Instawork platform as an independent contractor (i.e., for 1099 shifts), a link will be sent to the email address associated with your Pro account. Please click on the link to access your Form 1099.
Form W-2 - If you earned any income in 2024 as an employee of Advantage Workforce Services, LLC (i.e., for W2 shifts), you will receive instructions from ADP at the end of January 2025 regarding how to download your Form W2.
File your taxes by April 15!
