Why You Should Only Have One Instawork Account
Instawork does not allow Professionals to have multiple accounts on the platform. Creating more than one account violates our terms of service and can lead to account suspension or deactivation.
What Counts as a Duplicate Account?
A duplicate account is created when you:
- Sign up with a different phone number while already having an existing account
- Create a new account after being unable to access your original account
- Make a new account using different personal information
What Happens If You Have Multiple Accounts
If our system detects that you have multiple accounts, the duplicate account may be suspended or deactivated. In some cases, all associated accounts may be suspended while we review them.
What to Do If You Can't Access Your Account
If you're having trouble logging into your account, do not create a new one. If you've lost access to your Instawork account or don't remember which phone number you used to create your account, please take a look at our Account Recovery page for step-by-step instructions on how to regain access.
Why We Have This Policy
This policy helps us:
- Maintain accurate ratings and work history for all Professionals
- Ensure fair access to shifts for everyone
- Protect the security of the platform
- Provide consistent experiences for our business Partners
