Footprint shifts are 2-hour shifts at Dollar Tree stores where you'll place security tags on various items. These shifts can be completed anytime between Monday and Wednesday of the assigned week. You can book these shifts through the Instawork app.
Before your shift
Note that these are "anytime shifts," which means you can complete them anytime between Monday and Wednesday.
You should plan to spend about 2 hours at the location.
Make sure your phone is charged so you can complete the requirements of the projects
During your shift
When you arrive at the Dollar Tree store, check in with the store manager.
Clock in through the Instawork app.
The manager will provide you with security tags to place on products.
Place the tags on the front of each product as instructed.
Complete the required survey in the app, which includes:
Taking a picture of the store's timekeeping system when you arrive.
Following the step-by-step instructions.
Taking another picture of the timekeeping system when you leave.
If there's a problem during your shift
If the store is closed or the manager tells you that you cannot complete the work:
Do not leave right away
Open the survey in the app
Follow the instructions to report the issue
The survey will provide steps to open a case number. This documentation is important to ensure you still get paid.
After your shift
Make sure to clock out through the app after completing your 2 hours.
Complete all parts of the survey before leaving the store.
Submit the survey to ensure you get paid on time.
Remember that completing the survey is required for payment processing. Missing survey information may delay your payment.
