Performance guidelines

Important information on how your performance is measured.

Updated yesterday

On each and every shift, your performance reflects the professionalism of the Instawork community. More importantly, your overall performance impacts your ability to book certain shifts on the platform. Here are factors that contribute to your performance report:

Average Rating

When your shift is over, Partners will have an opportunity to rate your performance from 1 to 5 stars. Every shift is a chance to show off your skills and increase your average rating!

To view your current rating and status:

  1. Go to the Earnings tab

  2. Select the Instawork Top Pros card

  3. You'll see your current average rating and your progress toward the next level

On-time Arrivals

Keep your on-time arrival percentage high by planning ahead and preventing delays that may cause you to be tardy. Additionally, arriving late to your shifts could negatively affect your ratings from our partners.

Cancellations, No-Shows, and Leaving Early

Any and all cancellations or no-shows will negatively impact your overall performance report and could prevent getting access to future shifts. Keep in mind that ratings related to cancellations or no-shows are permanent, even if the issue is later excused.

Profile Quality

Your public Instawork professional profile must be complete and up-to-date. This includes, but is not limited to, your:

  • first and last name

  • profile picture

  • valid phone number, email address, and home address

  • most recent work experience and references

  • valid certificates such as a Food Handlers card and TIPs.
