Understanding your Instawork payment schedule
This article explains when and how you'll receive payments for shifts worked through Instawork, including both weekly payments and Instapay options.
Weekly payment schedule
For shifts paid on the weekly schedule:
Pay period: Monday through Sunday
Processing day: Wednesday (for shifts completed the previous week)
Deposit timing: Thursday to Saturday (depending on your bank)
For example, if you work shifts between Monday, July 1, and Sunday, July 7, your payment will be processed on Wednesday, July 10, and should appear in your account by Saturday, July 13.
Payment timing by account type
How quickly you receive your weekly payment depends on your bank:
Most banks: Funds typically appear by Friday
Some banks: Funds may appear as early as Thursday evening
All banks: Funds should appear no later than Saturday
Note: Instawork sends payments on Wednesday, but your bank's processing time determines exactly when funds become available in your account.
